Costa Rica: The Cure for Boredom

Costa Rica - Jill 340

Pristine waterfalls, myriad geysers, natural swimming holes, bubbling mud pots, fumaroles, rejuvenating thermal hot springs, hiking, horseback riding, orchids, bird-watching, a canopy zipline, white-water rafting and a quarter-mile waterslide…a visit to Hacienda Guachipelin in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, is anything but boring.

  1. One of the funniest activities in Guanacaste. Many people use to think that Guanacaste is just beautiful beaches, however Rincon de la Vieja National Park is a top destination in this area.

  2. Great post! Costa Rica is very high on my to-visit list. I hope to make it there in 2016 – or earlier if I can squeeze it in! I just want to hike a few volcanoes, go ziplining, see some sloths, and eat ALL the food! But your post makes me want to do exactly what you described. Do you remember, does the $80 fee include EVERYTHING (horses, hiking, ziplining, etc.) or just the thermal springs and mud baths? Either way, what a fantastic day!
