   Hello Patti,

   Love your blog. Interesting that you and haven’t made it yet to Chile.

   My husband Teiji and I are baby boomers living in Pirque, Chile. It is a semi-rural area in the Maipo Valley wine country, at the foothills of the Andes, located less than an hour from Santiago. We enjoy a glorious Mediterranean climate, fabulous wine, olive oil, organic vegetables and so much more. You can also experience of the beauty of the Andes, with its many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, rafting and horseback riding.
