I know, every blogger and their uncle has a gift guide, and not surprisingly, they all have basically the same mundane gift suggestions. Most of them you (1) already have, (2) are boring, or (3) don’t want. They are about as far from quirky female travel gifts as you can get.
I submit that this guide is different. For one thing, this is the first list that I’ve ever made public. And the only reason I decided to enter the fray is that every week I get comments on my social media about my style – my clothing, accessories, and gear – as well as solicitation from brands that want to work with me.
I recently posted several photos of Machu Picchu on my Instagram profile. I got a lot of comments about the view, as expected, but also many comments about the hoodie I was wearing (see hoodie link below). People frequently comment (online and in person) on my hat, pink scuba mask, luggage, and other things I wear or use.
More importantly, I’m publishing this list because I want everyone to know that you CAN have both form and function! Bah-bye boring khaki clothing and nondescript gear! Hello fun times and amazing photo ops!
I’m not gonna lie, I do like being different, albeit a bit quirky, but I find myself in a magnanimous sharing mood this year, so… take advantage and enjoy these quirky female travel gifts — for you or for your favorite unique female traveler!
