instagram spots in bali

Bali is a dream destination where every corner feels like a postcard waiting to happen. From dramatic cliffs to serene temples, these Instagram spots in Bali offer the perfect blend of nature, culture, and beauty that travelers crave.

Whether you’re chasing waterfalls, sunsets, or iconic gates, this guide will help you capture unforgettable moments. Get ready to explore the most photogenic places on the island and elevate your travel feed like never before. It’s easily one of the best islands I’ve ever visited!

Note: On my first trip to Bali, I took a group tour, which I enjoyed. But if you truly want to experience the culture and beauty of Bali, you would have to do it on your own, with either a rental car/scooter, or a personal driver (I did that the second time) because the tours do not cover everything wonderful to see on the island, especially the best beaches, which are in the far south.

However, I can absolutely understand the hesitancy to rent a car – the infrastructure in Bali isn’t for the faint-hearted. Click here for Bali Adventure Tour, here for Bali and Beyond Tour, or here for Yogyakarta to Bali Tour.

If you decide to rent a car or scooter, don’t forget to get your International Driver’s license.

25 Monkey Forest

Sunlight filters through the canopy, casting soft beams that make photos feel magical.

Monkeys roam freely and often interact with visitors, sometimes climbing onto shoulders or sneaking curious glances into bags. Their unpredictable nature adds excitement to your shots. It’s a way to mix wildlife, culture, and jungle scenery. I’m not overly fond of wild, cheeky monkeys, so this wasn’t my favorite experience, but others love it.

26 Kelingking Beach

You’ve heard of Instagram vs. Reality? Well, this is it.

27 Net Trampoline

The boutique hotel where I stayed just outside of Ubud had a very impressive feature. This “net trampoline” was cantilevered from our balcony over working rice fields. It was a bit intimidating inching my way out onto it, and I didn’t stay long, but it was worth the photo op. Sometimes you could see people working in the fields.
